Last week, CBS News Los Angeles and Telemundo visited Alliance Piera Barbaglia Shaheen Health Services Academy in South LA. The news channels featured the high school’s community garden and the inspiring ways it has been used to help foster social-emotional healing and wellness for scholars on campus. The garden was launched this past fall with start-up funding by longtime Alliance supporters, Linda and David Shaheen.
