We are proud to announce our Class of 2024 Alliance scholarship recipients! Chosen from a competitive pool of over 400 applicants, these seniors have demonstrated exceptional academic excellence and leadership within their schools and communities. With awards ranging from $2,500 to $20,000, the scholarships include the Gayle Miller Leaders of Change Scholarship, the Carson Scholarship, the Judy Burton Impact Award, the Dan Katzir Scholarship, the J Castro Student-Athlete of the Year Award, and the College Care Package Scholarship.
Below, are some of the incredible recipients who will begin their higher education journey at colleges and universities nationwide this fall:
“One’s gender should not define their opportunities in the professional world, particularly in STEM fields. Initially, the disparity was a fear, but now it’s a challenge I’m willing to take. Looking ahead, I envision myself as an aerospace engineer, fulfilling the dreams of my ten-year-old self and showing her, “¡Lo hice!” — and I did it as a Latina woman.”

With the investment of nearly 300 supporters, we have distributed $545,000 in scholarships this spring. Special thanks goes to the Alliance Foundation’s Scholar Success Board, who raised funds for the Gayle Miller Leaders of Change Scholarships and Judy Burton Impact Awards, and our many volunteers who helped in the selection process by reading applications and interviewing scholarship finalists. To the Johnny Carson Foundation, thank you for twelve years of partnership in creating more equitable access to college. And to everyone who contributed to the Alliance scholarship funds, thank you for affirming the brilliance in Alliance scholars.
